Op 11 november 2020 promoveerde Bibi Slingerland aan de Erasmus Universiteit op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Staphylococcus aureus, kolonisatie, dragerschap en transmissie’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotor prof. dr. M.C. Vos en copromotor dr. W.J.B. van Wamel. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
