Op 10 november 2023 promoveerde Jos van Oers aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam op zijn proefschrift ‘Biomarkers in critically ill patients’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotoren prof. dr. A.R.J. Girbes, prof. dr. D.W. de Lange en copromotor dr. A. Beishuizen. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
