dr. R. van Baars
Op 1 oktober 2014 promoveerde mw. dr. R. van Baars aan de Erasmus Universiteit op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Cervical Cancer Prevention by HPV Self-sampling, Colposcopy and Biomarkers’. Het onderzoek is verricht op DDL Diagnostic Laboratory, onder begeleiding van de promotoren prof. dr. Th.J.M. Helmerhorst (afdeling gynaecologie, Erasmus Medisch Centrum) en prof. dr. P.J.F. Snijders (afdeling pathologie, VU Medisch Centrum) en de copromotoren dr. W.G.V. Quint (DDL Diagnostic Laboratory, Rijswijk) en dr. W.A. ter Harmsel (Roosevelt kliniek, Leiden). Hieronder zijn de belangrijkste bevindingen beschreven.
