Op 8 november 2023 promoveerde Sophie Jansen aan de Universiteit Leiden op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘Strategies in the battle against neonatal nosocomial infections.’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotor prof. dr. E. Lopriore en copromotoren dr. V. Bekker en dr. M.T. van der Beek. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
